Transmission Rebuild Center, Inc. (TRC) was founded in 1981 as a small three person shop in the Puget Sound area. Thanks to our ongoing commitment to quality, customer service, price, and value; we now have multiple production facilities, including our flagship warehouse in Kent, Washington.

With over 25 years in the industry, we have accumulated an extensive core supply. Our experience and inventory make it possible for us to deliver service to our customers in ways other transmission wholesalers cannot. Our depth of cores in nearly every year, make, and model, for both automatic and standard transmissions, enables us to ship your transmissions faster so you can get your customers on the road quickly.

Several of our employees have worked with us for over 20 years. In our key technical positions we have over one hundred years of combined hands-on experience. Our production manager spends considerable time analyzing how the core transmissions we receive fail. He may then recommend specific model upgrades. These updates quite often go above and beyond dealer specifications, and are only available from TRC.

TRC has developed an "assembly-line" style of building that enables us to produce high quality at a lower cost. Each builder works on a specific family of transmissions, helping to ensure that they become experts and innovators in their field. Apprentice builders start their career building pumps and other subassemblies for the builders, allowing them to learn transmissions from the ground up.This also frees our more experienced builder's valuable time to work on quality assurance in the final assembly and on valve bodies.
